FALL SKIRT FOR THE CELEBRATIONS

Today's post is about a pretty, dark beige skirt that I came across at H&M about a month ago. It is made out of 100% polyester but it looks like a suede skirt. It is an affordable piece that hopefully will last for more than a season. This skirt has decorative buttons in the front and a concealed zip at the back. It feels light and comfortable on the body.

In Canada we celebrated Thanksgiving this past weekend. Similar to the USA Thanksgiving, Canadians celebrate by spending time with the family and eating too much delicious food. Due to this past weekend being a holiday, I decided to wear this skirt two days in a row. On the first day, I paired it with a turtle neck cashmere shirt, brown boots, small bag and a necklace.  On the second day I changed up the accessories to a large Michael Kors tote and brown flats.


My Style tip: When wearing skirts with boots I prefer to carry a small handbag with me. I find a large handbag with boots would overpower the skirt. When I switched to the tote on the following day, I changed up my boots for a pair of flats so that the outfit would appear more balanced remain feminine. :)

For the first day of celebrations my accessories included a small bag, necklace and brown boots.

For the second day of celebrations, I added a large Michael Kors tote and a pair of brown leather flats.
