THE RED SPAGHETTI-STRAP-TOP

                                                 

I went to Forever21 about a month ago for a special buy-one-top-get-one-free-top summer sales event. That day, it was extremely busy in the store. The lines were unusually long at the check-out counter, thusly I hurried a bit finding my two pieces. I left the store with a beautiful floral top and a bright red spaghetti-strap top. Shortly after my purchase, I had second thoughts about the spaghetti-strap top purchase. How was I ever going to wear this bright red top? Whenever I have a piece in my closet that I’m not liking anymore, I either give it to a friend or donate it to Goodwill.     

                 

So what to do with a top that you don't like if it was just purchased?                                                   Well…I couldn't return it because it was a final sale. I gave it a good wash, a steam, and hung it in my closet with love ‘n care. 

Then…at a second glance, the color wasn't actually that bad, and I decided to take on a challenge and create an outfit with this top. I know black and red always look good together. In order for the outfit to work and remain looking feminine, I simply added white jeans, a silver bracelet, and necklace.

                                             

Unsure whether this outfit will actually work.

I layered a black sports bra with a red Forever21 spaghetti-strap-top and an H and M cardigan. 

This is what it looks like from the back. I like when a tank-top is slightly longer than the cardigan. 

Hairstyle: Chignon

I love this soft polyester cardigan from H and M, it can be turned into short sleeves in no time.

A Raspberry snack

The bra, spaghetti-strap-top and cardigan blend well together. 

I am ready for a night out in town.
